Race Compass ±180° is designed to operate as a local, on-device marine instrument. We do not require accounts and we do not collect or sell personal information.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. The app does not ask you to create an account and does not transmit personal data to our servers.
Location (GPS)
The app may use your device’s GPS to show your current position and/or GPS course over ground (COG) and speed over ground (SOG), when enabled and when permission is granted by you. GPS data is used for on-device features.
- Location is used to display position and to compute bearing/distance to Home when set.
- Home location (if you set it) is stored locally on your device.
- We do not upload your location to a server.
Device data & analytics
Race Compass ±180° does not include advertising SDKs and does not perform third-party analytics tracking.
Data storage
The app may store settings and “Home” coordinates locally on your device (for example, using device preferences/storage) so your configuration persists between sessions.
Children’s privacy
This app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
